PEP Athlete Scott Wilson hoisted hockey’s most coveted prize on Sunday night in Nashville after his first full season with the back-to-back Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins. Although Scott registered 24 games with Pittsburgh in 2015-16, he played the majority of the injury-shortened season with the team’s AHL affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, where he averaged over a point per game. Following the 2015-16 season, Scott committed to an intensive off season of training, including weekly PEP sessions (see images below), and soon became a stalwart in the Pittsburgh forward group for the 2016-17 campaign, registering 26 points in the regular season. Scott continued to contribute throughout the Penguins’ cup run, putting up 6 points and playing a fast two-way game through the post season stretch.

From Joe and the entire PEP Team, congratulations Scotty! We look forward to more PEP training with you this summer.
