Power Edge Pro student and Blackhawks 2016 second round pick Alex Debrincat is turning heads at the Traverse City Prospect tournament. The eight team tournament consists of the Chicago Blackhawks, St Louis Blues, Columbus Blue Jackets, Carolina Hurricanes, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers and host Detroit Red Wings and showcases top young talent from all organizations. At only 5’7”, Debrincat’s skill and grit has been a major topic of discussion, with some indicating the 19 year old forward has a chance to crack Chicago’s lineup this season. Debrincat also impressed at this years PEP Pro camp, where he worked on his game beside top players like Connor McDavid, John Tavares and Matt Duchene. Check out some training footage here:
