ERIE, Pa. February 26th, Joe Quinn
Connor McDavid scored another highlight reel goal, with an end-to-end rush, lifting the Erie Otters’ to an 8-4 win over the Guelph Storm on Wednesday night.
In typical fashion, Connor exploded through the Neutral zone, attacking the D-man at full speed. His flawless execution of gaining body positioning through false information, puck placement and foot speed is becoming one of his trademarks. This combination is no match for many NHL D-man let alone a CHL D-man who tried a poke check while flat-footed.
PEP Ambassador Connor McDavid has now reached 36 goals and 98 points in 37 games and has only been held pointless for one game the entire season. McDavid now has 11 points in his past two games.
“ I would have to say these have been my best back-to-back games (in junior hockey)” McDavid wrote.
Every NHL team would love to call out Connors name at the 2015 NHL Draft in June. There is no question that Connor is a future NHL Star in the making and will have his name called first on draft day. The best is yet to come for Connor McDavid.
