The PEP Factor

The Ultimate recipe for hockey greatness

The PEP Factor

It’s about thinking fast with the puck, making smart decisions, and knowing exactly where to place it on the ice. This special skill set lets today’s top players shine, even in tight spots, as they effortlessly outplay defenders.

Go beyond Xs and Os

PEP offers a complete developmental blueprint

R.C.T.™ training emphasizes mastering the biomechanics needed to engage the correct muscle groups simultaneously, which is essential for improving response times, accelerating decision-making, and enhancing movement and skating speed.

Connor McDavid – Then vs. Now

Before they wowed the crowd, they put in the Pep reps.

What do Connor McDavid, Jack Hughes, Owen Power, and Connor Bedard all have in common?  PEP’s revolutionary Reactive Countering Training™ allowed them to get more high quality, game transferable repetitions in less time. Players like Connor McDavid train with PEP to this day because they recognize that dedicated, repetitive skill practices are the key to unlocking their potential.

it's not a gadget

IT’S A TRAINING BREAKTHROUGH.

Traditional hockey training methods often rely on pylons or single overload gadgets, which fail to address secondary reaction points that are critical for split-second countering by the player.

In contrast, Power Edge Pro (PEP) is the only hockey training program that offers multiple overloading, requiring constant countering actions by the player.

Brock University: Proven Performance with PEP R.C.T.™

The 2017 Brock University Study provides scientific validation of the superior impact of PEP R.C.T.™ training on player development, as compared to traditional training methods.

According to the research, PEP-trained players experienced significant improvements in three critical areas:

1. Speed

2. Accuracy

3. Puck Interaction

1. Speed

After 8 sessions, Atom players were 9.67% faster and Bantam players were 11.89% faster in completing PEP R.C.T.™ drills. In contrast, players in traditional practices showed no increase in speed.

2. Accuracy

PEP R.C.T.™-trained players showed significant improvements in accuracy, with both Atom and Bantam groups retaining these gains over time. Traditional practice participants showed no improvement.

3. Puck Interaction

PEP R.C.T.™ delivers 6-10 times more puck touches than traditional training. Players achieved 1,586 tactical touches over 8 sessions with the 1st generation R.C.T.™ single-stick gear. The next-generation 4-stick gear has increased these touches to 250 in Session 1 and 285 in Session 8 and as much as 450-500 touches in an advanced R.C.T. circuit.
